SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 Education Qualification
- Junior Statistical Officer:- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II:- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.
- Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC): - Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute 1 Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution.
- For Remaining post :- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University.

SSC CGL Selection Process
- Two years ago, SSC revised the selection process, and now only two-tier exams will be conducted to shortlist candidates for various Group B and C posts under the SSC CGL Notification 2024. SSC CGL 2024 Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:
- Stage 1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature).
- Stage 2 Tier-II: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
- All candidates who have applied successfully for the SSC CGL exam, will be assigned Roll numbers and Admit Cards for appearing in the Computer-Based Examination (Tier-I).
- Based on the marks scored in Tier-I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II Examination.
- Separate cut-offs will be released separately for Paper-II of Tier-II (i.e. for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), and for Paper-I of Tier-II (i.e. for all other posts).
- Tier-II Examinations will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in Tier-I.
- In Tier II, all the candidates will be required to appear in Paper-I and Paper-II. However, only specific candidates shortlisted for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) will be required to appear in Paper-II.
- The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates solely in Paper

- Now click on “Apply” against Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024.
- If you are a new user, then click on “Register Now” and create a new user name/registration number and password for yourself.
- Now login with your Username (Registration Number) and Password and fill in the captcha code carefully.
- Enter the required details in the fields and attach the documents which are asked for in the application form.
