one of the languages as local language.
Bank of Maharashtra Apprentice Salary
- The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs. 9000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances / benefits.

BOM Apprentice Selection Process
- The candidates shall be required to register online application on bank’s website with 12th percentage (HSC/10+2) / Diploma percentage. Merit list for engagement of apprentices will be prepared State-wise in descending order on the basis of marks / percentage obtained in 12th (HSC/10+2) / Diploma examination, in case more than one candidate having the same percentage, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.
- The candidates who have completed Engineering Degree after completion of Diploma from the recognized University / Board of Govt. of India, their Diploma Marks / Percentage in the aggregate of all semesters / years would be considered for preparing merit list. Refer to clause (03) (11) for calculating percentage of marks.
- Computerized Merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the information filled by the Candidate in the ONLINE application. In case of any discrepancy observed at the time of Document Verification, the Candidate will be disqualified summarily.
- Mere eligibility does not imply that the Bank is satisfied beyond doubt about the candidate’s eligibility and shall not vest any right in a candidate for engagement / selection. Bank reserves right to change / modify the selection / engagement criteria, if necessary.
- The Bank would be free to reject an engagement of any candidate at any stage of, if he / she is found to be ineligible and / or furnished incorrect or false information / certificates / documents or has suppressed any material facts and the fees paid by the ineligible candidates shall be forfeited. If engaged, such a candidate’s apprenticeship contract may be summarily cancelled.
- Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit, verification of antecedents and other formalities as decided by the Bank.
- A Waiting list (State-wise) for one year will be maintained and called the candidates for apprenticeship training on account of unfilled positions / non joining of candidates for training.
- The finally selected candidates shall have to submit their applications along with the requisite documents through web portal https://nats.education.gov.in, initially they have to register themselves in the said web portal.
How to Apply for Bank of Maharashtra Apprentice Recruitment 2024
- Candidates are advised to go to the Bank’s website https://bankofmaharashtra.in and click on the ‘Careers’ → Current Openings → to open the link “Online application for Engagement of Apprentices, under the Apprentices Act, 1961 - Project 2024-25” and then click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
- To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, contact details, and e-mail id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
- Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify / get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
- Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible / entertained after clicking the COMPLETE REGISTRATION button.
- . The Name of the candidate or his / her father / husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates / Mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
- Validate your details and save your application by clicking the Validate your details’ and ‘Proceed’ button. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo, Signature, Left Thumb Impression & Handwritten Declaration as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature.
- Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before COMPLETE REGISTRATION. Modify details, if required, and click on ‘COMPLETE REGISTRATION’ only after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded, and other details filled by you are correct. Candidates are requested to apply online between 14.10.2024 and 24.10.2024.
- On successful completion of application, a preview of an application form will be generated, which may be printed / saved for record. The printout of the application form should not be sent to the Bank.

Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
- Selection will be through examination (if required) and personal interview/ discussion. A preliminary screening of applications may be carried out by the Bank to shortlist eligible candidates with reference to candidate’s qualifications, suitability/ experience etc.
- Final Selection will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in personal interview/ discussion. The allocation of marks for personal Interview is 100. The candidate should score minimum 50 marks (45 in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD) to qualify in the interview. In case more than one candidate score the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit. Bank may change the mode of selection depending upon the number of candidates.
- While short listing the candidates, bank may consider additional qualification/s, greater experience and level of responsibilities handled. Thus, merely fulfilling minimum qualification and experience criteria would not automatically entitle a candidate for the interview and the bank as per decided criteria shall shortlist the candidates for interview and accordingly only such candidates will be allowed to participate in recruitment process.
- Bank reserves the right to conduct written examination depending upon number of applications received, if deem fit and proper.
- Mere eligibility / admission to Group Discussions / Interview / pass in GD/ interview does not imply that the Bank is satisfied beyond doubt about the candidate’s eligibility and shall not vest any right in a candidate for selection.
